U.S. forces conducted a series of strikes against Iran-backed militant groups in Iraq and Syria in response to last weekend’s attack in Jordan that killed three U.S. soldiers.
The intelligence that the Defense Intelligence Agency collects, analyzes and disseminates is indispensable to the Defense Department and the wider intelligence community, Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks said.
