Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Lisa Franchetti gave remarks during a panel discussion that kicked off this year’s Sea-Air-Space maritime exposition just outside of Washington.
Japan is being considered for cooperation with AUKUS because of its strengths and its close defense partnership with all three countries, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said.
