Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III’s ninth official visit to the Indo-Pacific region will include stops in India, South Korea and Indonesia, where he will attend engagements showcasing the growing cooperation among the U.S. and its allies.
The Defense Department currently has four lines of effort in the Middle East, Pentagon Press Secretary Air Force Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder said.
