DOD officials believe the unsafe interceptions of U.S. and allied aircraft in international airspace by Chinese officials is to “coerce a change in lawful U.S. operational activity,” the assistant secretary of defense for Indo-Pacific security affairs said.
The Defense Department completed five separate C-17 Globemaster III missions to deliver assistance, including munitions, to meet Israel’s needs in the wake of the deadly attacks by Hamas terrorists, Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said.
